San Fernando Recreation Park and Aquatic Center

Located in the heart of the city of San Fernando, the San Fernando Regional Pool is a fun and exciting aquatic center for the whole family to enjoy. It features an Olympic size pool with starting blocks and 3 diving boards; a small recreation pool with water slide and spray features; splash pad; patio area with tables; park- like setting and landscaping; large banquet room with outdoor veranda; small classroom/meeting room; and concession stand. Volunteer With Us! The Department of Parks and Recreation has many different volunteer programs and opportunities for your participation. Many of our community parks have volunteer opportunities in areas such as athletic programs, after school programs, tiny tot programs and general park operations. Our Regional Park Facilities have more specialized volunteer programs that range from docents at our nature centers and botanic gardens, mounted assistance units for our equestrian trails, and guides for our many school tours. They will be able to provide you with information, answering questions you may have and discuss the application process for becoming a volunteer.
