Orange County Historical Society
Orange County Historical Society (OCHS) is a research, archival, and educational organization, dedicated to the discovery, preservation, and dissemination of the history of Orange County, of its people, and the surrounding area for the benefit of its members and the general public. All are welcomed to join (see Membership). In each membership year—which runs from September through June—members receive a monthly newsletter, filled with information about our latest and upcoming events, and scheduled activities. This newsletter highlights the topic of the presentation to be delivered by the guest speaker(s) at the next monthly meeting. Membership also includes a copy of the current year’s Orange Countiana, our annual publication containing articles researched and written by local historians.
OCHS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Join us and help make a difference in preserving Orange County’s history, and sharing that knowledge with those living now, and in generations to come.
