Bringing People and Ideas Together The Contra Costa County Library seeks to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. With 27 locations, our libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun. Volunteer Volunteers are a vital part of the success of the Library. The 26 community libraries rely on the support of our many volunteers to complete important tasks. Each community library has different volunteer needs. Please contact your community library for more information about volunteer opportunities. You may also complete the volunteer interest form on the page https://ccclib.org/volunteer/volunteer-interest-form/. If your qualifications meet the needs of the library we will contact you for an interview. If not, your interest card will remain on file for six months.
