Yerba Buena Chapter of the California Native Plant Society

Our mission is to protect and promote California’s native plants and environments by combining science with passion. CNPS brings together education, conservation, and gardening to support the native plant movement. Since its beginning, the Yerba Buena Chapter of the California Native Plant Society has been at the forefront of plant science and native plant appreciation, making it a leading voice in the global native plant community. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit committed to the conservation of California's native plants and their natural habitats while promoting greater understanding, enjoyment, and horticultural use. We work closely with policymakers, scientists, and local planners to advocate for environmentally responsible policies, regulations, and land management practices.
