Berkeley Humane

Berkeley Humane provides complete care for homeless animals, from rescue to rehabilitation to placement. We match animals with loving and committed adopters, strengthen the human-animal bond, and promote the humane treatment of animals. Our vision is to be an innovative leader in animal welfare and to provide critical resources to our community, leading the way with best practices in animal care to reduce the number of homeless animals in our community and beyond. Berkeley Humane is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that does not receive funding from national groups or the government. We are supported by individual contributions, events, program fees, and corporate and foundation grants, and are not run or supported by any national or regional entity. Volunteer We could not do what we do without the amazing force of volunteers we have. If you have some free time that you can dedicate to others, we have multiple volunteer opportunities.
