To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. We provide: A safe place to learn and grow Ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals Life-enhancing programs and character development experiences Hope and opportunity Volunteer Opportunities: General Volunteer – Working in our Club Houses and Teen Centers with youth on a weekly basis. We are always looking for tutors, homework helpers, games room attendants and sport enthusiasts who can help to enrich the programs we run. Foster Grandparent Program – Through an ongoing partnership with Passages retired individuals may even qualify for a regular meal and a small stipend through regular volunteer duty. College Student Internships and Volunteering – Through Chico State and Butte College a variety of internship opportunities are available that meet department requirements and credit eligibility. Skill Based Volunteers – People with the skills, knowledge and abilities to support Club operations. These volunteers may support by being a board member, coach, referee, musical instructor, foreign language tutor, dance teacher, and yoga instructor etc. Youth Volunteers – We have various teenage volunteer positions through our Teen Center programs such as Leaders in Training (LIT), Counselors in Training (CIT), senior projects and community service assignments.
