Due Date: 2025-07-20T11:12:09.271Z
Are you good with legos and want to share your knowledge?! We’re currently working on putting together a fun, hands-on Lego program and are hoping to find someone who can teach LEGO building and is comfortable working with kids and adults with special needs. Here’s what we’re looking for: Someone to teach a monthly LEGO Master Class for a group of kids and adults with special needs The class would run once a month on the last Sunday, for 8 months (Dates: Sep 28, Oct 26, Nov 23, Jan 25, Feb 15, March 22, April 26, May 31) Each session is 1.5 hours The instructor needs to be comfortable working with kids of all abilities, and be willing to adapt the activity for all students. Some students will be using larger blocks whose motor skills don't allow them to use small legos. Each class would focus on building a new thing and learning about it. For example, the first class could be about bridges. First you teach them how bridges work, their structure, etc. Then, you teach them step by step how to build it.
