Psychology Mentor / Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Help Shape Youth Programs That Truly Matter
Organization: Miracle Youth Productions (MYP) Location: Remote or San Diego, CA (Hybrid options available) Commitment: Project-based, flexible hours Description: Miracle Youth Productions (MYP), a youth-led nonprofit providing applied education through the arts, is seeking a Psychology Mentor / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to help us shape youth programs that are emotionally supportive, developmentally appropriate, and impactful. You won’t be doing therapy or delivering direct services. Instead, your role is to mentor our student leaders and program developers, offering insight into how today’s youth think, feel, and grow-so they can design programs that resonate with their peers. What You’ll Do: Consult with MYP leadership and students on youth psychology and mental wellness. Mentor students working on program development, offering input on emotional and developmental alignment. Help integrate strategies that build self-esteem, social connection, and purpose. Support creation of tools for assessing program effectiveness in terms of psychological impact. Why Volunteer With Us?
