Recruiting Organization: Animal Fix Clinic Animal Fix Clinic seeks volunteer board members with experience in: Fundraising and Development Public Relations / Social Media Human Resource Management Who We Are and Why We Do It Every animal and every family deserves the best veterinary care. Animal Fix Clinic is a 501(c)(3) non-profit spay/neuter clinic in the San Francisco Bay Area dedicated to making high-quality veterinary care accessible to all. We never turn anyone away for lack of funds: since 2014, Animal Fix Clinic has performed more than 50,000 life-saving and life-changing spay/neuter surgeries at low or no cost. We recently moved into a permanent home in Pinole, and we have the opportunity to expand and deepen the impact Animal Fix Clinic has on our community - so we’re looking for new directors to join our board! We Want You! Board members can expect participation of 2-6 hours per month with monthly meetings on Zoom and in person twice a year. AFC’s Board is currently an operations board, so while individual contributions are welcome, expertise and the willingness to jump in to make a difference are valued just as highly. Experience working with animal welfare is preferred but not required. We’re deeply invested in inclusion and would love to welcome new board members that represent the communities we serve, especially communities of color and representing the full spectrum of gender diversity. To Apply Please send a short, introductory email that includes a description of the work or life experience that makes you well-suited for a position on our Board to president@animalfixclinic.org. If there is a possible fit, we will reach out to schedule a conversation to learn more about each other.
