Our Summer Camp provides a safe, engaging, and enriching experience for children, focusing on personal growth, teamwork, and fun. Role Overview The Volunteer Camp Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of RGE Cares Summer Camp. This individual will assist in organizing camp activities, coordinating volunteers, and providing a positive experience for campers. Key Responsibilities Assist in planning and executing daily camp activities, ensuring they align with the camp’s mission and objectives. Serve as a point of contact for volunteers, parents, and staff, ensuring smooth communication and coordination. Oversee camper engagement, safety, and well-being throughout the program. Support logistics such as setting up events, managing supplies, and coordinating schedules. Assist with volunteer training, ensuring all team members are prepared to deliver a fun and safe experience. Help document camp experiences through photos, testimonials, and reports. Address any issues or concerns promptly, working closely with leadership to resolve challenges. Qualifications & Skills Passion for working with youth and creating meaningful experiences. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in event planning, youth programs, or camp leadership is a plus. Must pass a background check (if required).
