2025 Mentors & Mimosas Gala Volunteers

The Ignite Arts & STEM Mentors & Mimosas Gala will take place at the START Los Angeles in the Historic West Adams District. It is a celebration of the growth and development of our mentorship and scholarship programs. Volunteer opportunities are available anytime between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. Please indicate your shift preference when signing up for this opportunity. Volunteer areas include: Event Set Up Registration Auction/Raffle/Wine pull monitoring Item Pick Up/Collection/Clean up Food/Bar Assistance Event Breakdown We will provide volunteers with 1 meal (depending on how long you are with us). However, we are not able to cover transportation for volunteers. Public transportation is easily accessible. Volunteer dress code is business casual black and white (white or black shirt & white or black pants/skirt) Please be prepared to dress for the occasion and wear comfortable shoes you can be on your feet in if should your role should necessitate it. We are excited to safely celebrate Ignite Arts & STEM's most devoted supporters and friends in person, with an afternoon that includes a silent auction/raffle/wine pull, as well as distinguished featured and keynote speakers. We will continue doing the work required to bridge the gap between representation and access to education, for students of color pursuing careers in the ARTS and STEM. This event is our largest fundraiser of the year; all monies raised will directly fund our 2025-2026 scholarship awards, mentoring, and parental engagement programs. We need volunteers to ensure this event runs smoothly.
