Specific current needs: North East Orange County (Yorba Linda, Fullerton, Tustin, Anaheim, etc. areas), North East Orange/LA County (Long Beach, Seal Beach, Los Alamitos, Buena Park, etc. areas). You will be visiting Hospice patients in their homes, whatever that may be....private home, assisted living, skilled nursing facilities or board and care facilities. Spending time, life review, playing games, watching TV, companionship or caregiver relief. Do you have a special skill: Do you play music or sing? Are you a licensed pet therapist? . Are you a licensed manicurist or hairstylist? Are you a veteran? Great! Our patients need you. As you can see there are many ways to be that special person that helps the families and patient in this end of life experience. Giving comfort to patients and families at the end of life is a very rewarding service both for the patient and family as well as the volunteer. Come and join us!
