Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for mentors in South Los Angeles

Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters (CBBBS) works with volunteers, children, and families of all beliefs, backgrounds and identities, by providing strong, enduring, and professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships with caring adult mentor volunteers that inspire youth potential. We believe every child is born with potential and with a mentor they achieve milestones and reach long-term success. CBBBS mentoring program connects and supports screened volunteer mentors and youth relationships. The 1-to-1 match develops between a youth and caring adult in a mentoring setting - this "active ingredient" builds youth self-esteem, nurtures confidence and improves academic performance. We create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. CBBBS serves all people regardless of belief, background or identity. The children served by CBBBS range in age from 7 to post high school graduation.
