Event Staff: Raffle Manager
Peace and infinite blessings, thank you for finding your way to our volunteer outreach. We are seeking charismatic volunteers to handle our Raffles and Giveaways at ARTWATERlife's Five Dollar Art Party Sept 23rd 12-6pm in Los Angeles. Ideally, we would have a few people to handle this role to allow the volunteers time to enjoy the party. The Five Dollar Art Party is an immersive outdoor art experience with dozens of diverse artists, musicians, muralists and artisans gathering to celebrate public art and collect art supplies for underserved communities. We are seeking volunteers that have experience doing raffles at live events. They will be responsible for managing the raffles, our inventory of raffle items, selling tickets, calling numbers and giving out prizes. Items include one-of-a-kind original art work and must be handled with museum-like care. Other raffle items include gift cards, a skate deck, and other misc items. We need someone who is comfortable interacting with lots of people, courteously selling raffle tickets via cashless payments (zelle, paypal, cashapp), and mingling with the guests and artists Thank you so much for your time and interest. We will be happy to give you letters of recommendation, shout outs on our socials and plenty of water during the event. We are hosing a volunteers meetup on Saturday, Sept 9th at 6:20pm online to give you all of the details on your role. If you cannot make the meetup, please reach out to schedule an alternative date.
