Guadalupe River Park & Gardens

Guadalupe River Park & Gardens is a three-mile ribbon of park land that runs along the banks of the Guadalupe River in the heart of downtown San Jose from Highway 880 at the north, to Highway 280 at the south. It is a resource of regional importance to the people of Santa Clara County and the Bay Area. In the dense urban environment of downtown San Jose, the trails, parks and plazas of the Guadalupe River Park & Gardens not only serve to enjoy and preserve natural ecology, they offer residents and visitors a multitude of ways to recreate, relax, discover and enjoy. Volunteering with us can bring you many benefits – from learning successful gardening techniques, to having the satisfaction of doing something good for the environment. Plus, students can earn community service credits by spending some time working with us! Come meet new friends, build community, and help us maintain the park and Gardens at the same time! Volunteer Opportunities Office Support – Have a few hours free every week and looking for an opportunity to volunteer? We are seeking individuals such as yourself to staff our front desk/visitor center on the weekdays. Specifically, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings, as well as Monday and Friday afternoons! Historic Orchard Volunteer Workday – Community workdays are typically the 1st Saturday of the month, 9:00-11:30am.
