Grant Writer
Since 1956, the American Aviation Historical Society (AAHS) has preserved and shared publicly the rich heritage of American aviation. We maintain an extensive collection of books, documents and photographs that are available to researchers and aviation enthusiasts. The IRS recognizes AAHS as a 501(c)(3) educational organization. Quarterly, we publish a hard copy AAHS Journal and an electronic newsletter, the AAHS FlightLine. Both provide interesting and often little-known facts associated with American aviation. Although the hard copy journal is included with our annual memberships, rising publishing and postage costs have begun to deplete funds available to run our operations. Even a recent increase in membership pricing is inadequate to meet the financial demands we face. AAHS is eager to work with experienced grant writers for the purpose of receiving grants to support our mission. Volunteers accepted for these positions can work at home or in either of our California offices (Riverside or Huntington Beach). Grant writers will work closely with our personnel to accurately complete grant applications. Thank you for your interest!
