Volunteer Groups: Shop, Cook, and Serve Dinner at Family Shelter

Join Transition House families for Dinner! We are in need of new food service groups to purchase, cook, and serve dinner at our emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness. What does a Transition House Provider Group look like? Anyone who loves sharing food and serving their community! Groups of 3 to 8 volunteers per service night Purchase groceries, cook nutricious meal, and plate and serve dinner for up to 70 adults, teens, and children Volunteer evenings from about 4-7 p.m. Purchase groceries and assemble sack lunches for the following day On-site volunteers must be over 18 Contact Volunteer Coordinator, Rissa Gross, for more information at rgross@transitionhouse.com or 805-966-9668 x129.
