Join Us in Changing Lives: Hollywood PAL is committed to supporting low-income youth in the Hollywood Community. By volunteering, you become a beacon of hope for these amazing kids. Hollywood PAL drives positive change in the community we serve by partnering with LAPD and school- aged youth in programs that celebrate diversiy, equity, and inclusion and inspire personal excellence, social awareness, and civic engagement. What's Required: Commitment: Available to meet twice a week for one hour sessions Subjects expertise: Proficient and confident in the subject you will be tutoring Motivation : A genuine interest and passion in helping students succeed academically and further their skills in the subjects they are struggling with Communication Skills: Be able to explain concepts clearly and adapt an effective teaching style/ plan to meet the needs of the student. Ability to communicate effectively with tutoring coordinator Tutoring Details: Flexible Hours: Mondays to Thursdays from 4 pm to 7 pm | On-Site Location: 5824 Santa Monica Blvd Kids: Grades 1st to 12th Plus, Hollywood PAL is happy to verify your community service and volunteer hours!
