CityServe Bakersfield HQ trains, equips, and mobilizes the local church to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ in its community through compassion. With CityServe, the local church can gain influence, create greater impact for true transformation, and win souls for Jesus through community-based compassion. CityServe is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. All donations are tax-deductible where allowed by law. We supply the local church with tangible items like food, furniture, apparel and household necessities. Churches are resourced to fulfill their purpose and meet the needs of their community. The CityServe 10 Compassion Initiatives helps churches build capacity to engage in God’s compassion template from scripture. In partnership with the Neighborhoods to Nations National Grant Center, we help churches scale up for greater impact with a growing team, additional resources, and more effective strategy to reach people where they are.
