Meal Delivery Volunteers

St. Vincent Meals on Wheels is seeking meal delivery Volunteers to provide meal delivery service to the client's residence. The meal delivery volunteer provides a one on one interaction while delivering a hot nutritious meal to the client. The meal delivery volunteer works with a desiginated driver as a team. The duties include: preparation for the route, loading of the vehicle, delivery of meals to the client, and unloading of vehicle. Qualifications include interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse staff and volunteers in a team environment and attention to detail. The performance of duties involves working outdoors in varied weather conditions and the physical abilities to climb stairs and lift/move objects of ten pounds or more.
