The League of Amazing Programmers

We dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. In 2019, we served more than 600 girls, and with the help of our generous sponsors and donors, we were able to provide financial assistance to 45% of our girls who otherwise would not have been able to participate. Our board is dedicated to increasing access to the Girls on the Run programs for ALL girls (regardless of physical ability or financial situation). Our council has one full time staff and one part time staff. We rely on our talented and dedicated board to help move our council forward as we continue to grow and provide programming for more girls in our region. The Girls on the Run 5K would not be possible without the help of amazing volunteers who believe in our mission and show up to support our girls on their special day of achievement. Over 100 volunteers are needed to make our 5K a success! The 5K is the culminating event of our program and is a tangible way to see how Girls on the Run postively impacts hundreds of girls each season.
