Veggielution Community Farm

Veggielution empowers youth and adults from diverse backgrounds to create a sustainable food system in San Jose. Our urban farm engages the community by providing access to healthy and local food, creating youth leadership opportunities, and developing creative solutions to social and environmental justice issues. Veggielution is a non-profit community farm dedicated to creating a more sustainable food system in San Jose. We empower people to change the way they think about food by getting their hands in the soil, connecting with the land, and tasting the fruits of their labor. Volunteering at the farm looks different each Friday and Saturday. We may ask for help on planting, weeding, transplanting, and other basic clean up tasks. Anyone is welcome to farm with us, you don’t need any prior experience, our skilled farm crew and seasoned community members are great teachers.
