Due Date: 2027-03-26T21:00:00.000Z
Providing habitat for an incredible diversity of species. It is also our home and the core of our community. The Morro Bay National Estuary Program continuously leads and organizes the efforts of our residents to protect the bay for all the species that use it, including the local citizens. Because of these efforts, the bay is accessible, cleaner, healthier, and more protected. The Morro Bay National Estuary Program works to protect and restore Morro Bay and its watershed by conducting monitoring and research to track the health of the estuary, repairing natural habitats to protect water quality and wildlife, and educating residents and visitors on how to be good stewards of the bay. Help protect and restore Morro Bay for people and wildlife! The Estuary Program offers different volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Some opportunities require an ongoing commitment while others are one-time events. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please read and fill out the form below.
