We strengthen families and communities by transforming lives! Through our full continuum of services, Sierra Vista has established itself as a leader in unconditional care. ​ We meet children and families where they live, go to school, and in their own communities. We support children and families during some of the most challenging times of their lives, as they deal with abuse and neglect, complex emotional and behavioral issues, domestic violence, drug and alcohol addiction, early mental health issues, and family crisis. We give hope, help children find joy, strengthen families and communities, and offer an opportunity for a better life. Volunteer Opportunities Volunteers are essential to the planning, implementation, and success of fundraising events. These events include: Hearts for Children Event Adopt-A-Family Holiday Program Annual Benefit Golf Tournament Annual Regional Mentoring Summit Other events as they occur Volunteers are also needed to help in the programs that serve children and families. These opportunities include: Mentoring Tutoring children Arts & crafts coordination Helping with parenting classes Clerical help Teaching a skill or instrument to children We have many other volunteer opportunities due to the extent of the programs offered.
