Happy Tails Pet Sanctuary

Happy Tails has cared for many types of animals – cats, dogs, rabbits, turtles, etc. – although cats make up the great majority of our adoptions. We are not strictly a cats-only organization, but we find it easier to maintain foster homes for cats and kittens as compared to other animals that require more care and more one-on-one attention. We do rescue dogs as foster homes and space become available. Happy Tails takes pride in the health and well-being of the animals under our care. Every cat or kitten rescued by us is: Examined by a veterinarian Spayed or neutered Tested for common diseases, including feline leukemia virus (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV, if 6 months old or older) Vaccinated Treated for fleas Microchipped for identification if lost. Happy Tails appreciates new volunteers who want to help those who can’t help themselves. If you are someone who wants to do their part to help animals, then give us a try! Our most frequent areas of need are in the cleaning and adoption assistance teams, fostering and voicemail. We are practicing social distancing and masks are required in order to keep everyone safe.
