Volunteer at Engineering Summer Camp!
Help Inspire the Next Generation of Scientists and Engineers! Join Science from Scientists (SciSci) this summer as a volunteer for our Space Engineering Summer Camp! We've partnered with local Parks and Rec departments to bring an exciting, hands-on STEM experience to curious young minds ages 7-10. What’s the camp all about? Campers will blast off into the world of space exploration and take on exciting engineering challenges to solve real-world space problems. They'll design and test equipment for asteroid mining, create fire-resistant landing gear for Mars rovers, and tackle other imaginative space-themed engineering tasks. Why volunteer? Volunteering with SciSci is a great way to be part of something exciting and impactful. You’ll help our two amazing educators keep activities running smoothly, support young campers as they learn through hands-on exploration, and make sure everyone is having a great time. No need to be an expert-just bring your dependability, enthusiasm, and interest in STEM! Whether you’re a student, an engineer, or someone who loves inspiring kids, this experience is a fun and rewarding way to make a difference. Commitment We ask that volunteers commit to the full week of camp for consistency and the best experience for everyone. Ready to join us? Reply here or email our Volunteer Coordinator, Rylie Lang, at rlang@sciencefromscientists.org. Let’s launch an unforgettable summer of science and engineering!
