Look no further! It is the perfect place to take the family and just enjoy a day in the sun! Mayberry Park has 14 acres of pure fun for all ages! Enjoy a game of basketball or softball, play on the playground or exercise in the new Fitness Zone! The park also has a splash pad where children can cool off during the warm days of summer. Visit the park! We have programs for the entire family! Volunteer With Us! The Department of Parks and Recreation has many different volunteer programs and opportunities for your participation. Many of our community parks have volunteer opportunities in areas such as athletic programs, after school programs, tiny tot programs and general park operations. Our Regional Park Facilities have more specialized volunteer programs that range from docents at our nature centers and botanic gardens, mounted assistance units for our equestrian trails, and guides for our many school tours. To find out more information about volunteer opportunities, it is important that you contact the facility of your choice directly. They will be able to provide you with information, answering questions you may have and discuss the application process for becoming a volunteer.
