Volunteer Usher

West Edge Opera is looking for friendly and bright volunteers for the 2024 Summer Opera Festival held at The Oakland Scottish Rite Center this August 2 - 17. Help usher, sell tickets, pour refreshments, direct traffic, and welcome audiences this summer! Volunteering with West Edge Opera requires attending an orientation and participating in a training. Volunteers shifts begin about two hours before a given performance time, and end about a half hour following the performance. Work among the lively West Edge staff and enjoy a complimentary ticket to opera, all while welcoming audiences into live performance. The festival this summer includes the world premiere of Bulrusher, Legend of the Ring, and Jacqueline.
