Farm Volunteer

Do you want to help us to feed more kids on fresh greens and vegetables? Do you want to be a part of a team which goal is to improve eating behavior of new generation? We are here to provide more information and educate kids how to eat healthy and how to grow plants. Our farm is in Marin County, CA in San Rafael. We need all levels of farm volunteers. Weeding, planting, harvesting, greenhouse work, irrigation specialist, some small carpenter projects. We have volunteer day every Wednesday morning from 10 AM - 2 PM at San Pedro Elementary School San Rafael. We also have big volunteer days 4 times a year 4-5 hours. Time a year - 2 in the spring,1 in the summer, and 1 in the fall. Snacks and drinks always included. All ages (under 18 must have parents consent) The skills required - All Levels welcome. Some work is hard and takes certain skills other work like weeding can be therapeutic and doesn’t require a certain skill set.
