Welcome to the Seal Beach Historical Resources Foundation! Our mission is to preserve, promote, protect, and celebrate Seal Beach’s history and cultural heritage, and to ensure its preservation for future generations. Volunteer Opportunities As we grow the Seal Beach Historical Resources Foundation Society will be seeking volunteers and Docents to achieve our mission. Red Car Docent Our docents will be responsible for the opening and closing of the Red Car museum during hours of operation. They greet guests, give tours to visiting groups, and answer questions. All docents are asked to be current members of the SBHRF. Event/Exhibit Volunteers Event volunteers will work volunteers work directly with our event organizers and exhibit curator to complete a wide variety of tasks. ​Museum volunteers must be at or above 15 years of age, and have an interest in performing independent collections work.
